This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information handled, processed, or collected when you interact with the Threadclik website, our suite of multimedia utilities (including our Video Downloader, Bulk Downloader, Photo Downloader, Audio Downloader, and Profile Viewer), and the Threadclik Chrome Extension.

Independent Service Disclosure: Threadclik is an independent web service and browser extension. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Meta Platforms, Inc., Instagram, or Threads.

1. Zero-Hosting & Real-Time Media Streaming Architecture

Threadclik is designed from the ground up as a stateless, client-side forwarding utility, not a media hosting platform:

  • No Media Retention: Threadclik does not store, host, archive, cache, or permanently retain any videos, photos, carousels, audio files, avatars, or GIFs processed through our tools.
  • On-the-Fly Processing: When you request a download or view a public profile, our system parses the public post metadata directly from Meta's Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) in real-time and immediately delivers the master media stream to your browser or device storage.
  • No Media Library: We do not maintain a catalog, public gallery, or database of downloaded media. Once the stream transfer is completed, no cached copy remains on our servers.
  • Intellectual Property: Threadclik claims no copyright or proprietary ownership over any third-party content processed through our utilities. All intellectual property rights belong to the original creators and respective rights holders.

2. URLs and Data You Submit

When you submit a Threads link or username into any of our input fields:

  • The submitted URL or username is processed temporarily in volatile server memory solely to identify the requested media stream and fulfill your download or profile inspection request.
  • We do not associate submitted links with personal profiles, nor do we build user-specific browsing histories.
  • Standard, transient web server logs (such as timestamps, response codes, and anonymized technical metrics) may be recorded for server load balancing, DDoS defense, bot prevention, and operational debugging. These operational logs are systematically purged on a routine schedule.

3. Personal Information We Do NOT Collect

Threadclik believes in frictionless, anonymous utility. To use our core web downloaders and profile viewer, no account registration, login credentials, or payment details are ever required.

We explicitly do not collect or request:

  • Threads, Instagram, or Facebook account passwords or login tokens;
  • Private Direct Messages (DMs) or restricted communications;
  • Private Threads accounts or subscriber-only media;
  • Credit card numbers, bank accounts, or financial billing information;
  • Government IDs, physical home addresses, or phone numbers.

4. Advertising Partners & Google AdSense Compliance

To keep Threadclik 100% free for users worldwide, we may display third-party advertisements on our website through partners such as Google AdSense and other ad networks.

If you install the official Threadclik Chrome Extension:

  • Limited Scope: The extension operates only on supported Threads pages to locate public download URLs and provide one-click download buttons on posts.
  • No Extraneous Monitoring: The extension does not track your keystrokes, does not read your private messages, does not capture your credentials, and does not monitor your browsing behavior on any unrelated websites.
  • Safe Execution: Any interaction with our servers follows the same zero-log, on-the-fly streaming architecture detailed in Section 1.

7. Third-Party Infrastructure & Technical Services

To ensure high speed, global availability, and robust cybersecurity, Threadclik may utilize reputable third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., Content Delivery Networks, DDoS mitigation services like Cloudflare, and cloud web servers). These providers may process technical connection data (such as IP addresses and HTTP request headers) strictly to secure network traffic, prevent abusive automated traffic, and deliver fast worldwide loading times.

8. Security and Data Protection

We implement rigorous security practices to protect user sessions and traffic. All communication between your device and Threadclik is fully encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS with 256-bit SSL/TLS encryption. While no method of electronic transmission over the Internet is 100% immune to threats, our zero-retention model means there is no database of personal information or downloaded content stored on our systems that could be compromised.

Strict Age Restriction: Threadclik is intended exclusively for individuals aged 13 and older (and aged 16 and older in the European Union and United Kingdom). Children under the age of 13 (or under 16 where applicable by local jurisdiction) are strictly prohibited and not permitted to access, browse, or use Threadclik, our downloading tools, or our Chrome extension.
