DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last Updated: September 6, 2026 • DMCA compliance guidelines, copyright protections, and notice of infringement procedures.

Threadclik respects the intellectual property rights of content creators and copyright owners and expects all users of our Service to do the same. This policy outlines how copyright holders can submit notices of alleged infringement and how Threadclik responds to valid complaints.

Independent Service Disclosure: Threadclik is an independent third-party utility. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or officially connected with Meta Platforms, Inc. or Threads.

1. Stateless Conduit & Non-Hosting Policy

Threadclik functions solely as a transient technical conduit under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). We do not host, store, cache, archive, or republish copyrighted media on our servers.

When a user inputs a public link, our systems parse stream URLs in real time directly from public Content Delivery Networks (CDNs) and forward the stream straight to the user's browser. Once the transfer completes, no copy remains on our infrastructure.

Because original files reside entirely on third-party servers (such as Meta's CDNs), disabling a link on Threadclik does not remove the content from the original hosting platform.

2. Copyright Ownership & User Responsibility

All copyright, trademark, and intellectual property rights in third-party content belong exclusively to their respective owners. Threadclik claims zero ownership over any media processed through our utilities.

Threadclik grants no license, permission, or rights to reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit third-party material. Users are solely responsible for verifying that they hold the legal rights, permissions, or valid fair-use exceptions before downloading any content.

3. DMCA Designated Agent & Reporting Infringement

If you are a copyright holder or an authorized agent and believe that content accessible through our tools infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated agent:

4. Information Required in a Valid DMCA Notice

To enable prompt action, your notice must include all elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: A description or link to the original work claimed to be infringed.
  • Identification of the infringing material: The specific Threads post URL(s) or link(s) you request to be blocked on Threadclik.
  • Your contact details: Your full legal name, email address, physical mailing address, and telephone number.
  • Good-faith statement: A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • Accuracy statement under penalty of perjury: A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
  • Signature: A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative.

5. Actions Taken Upon Receipt (URL Blacklisting)

Upon receipt of a valid and complete DMCA notice, Threadclik will expeditiously review the complaint. As a non-hosting service, our primary remedy is to permanently blacklist and block the reported URL(s) from being resolved or processed by our download engine.

We may also notify the user who submitted the request regarding the restriction, where technically feasible.

6. Counter-Notification Procedure

If a user believes that their submitted URL was blocked as a result of mistake or misidentification, they may submit a counter-notification to support@threadclik.com containing:

  • Identification of the URL that was blocked;
  • Their name, address, and telephone number;
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that they have a good-faith belief the link was blocked due to mistake;
  • Consent to jurisdiction of competent courts and physical or electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may forward it to the original complaining party or take other appropriate steps under applicable law.

7. Repeat Infringement & Abuse Prevention

Threadclik reserves the right to restrict or terminate access for any user or IP address found to engage in repeated copyright infringement, automated abuse, or attempts to circumvent technical safeguards.

8. Penalty of Perjury & Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to substantial liability, including statutory damages and attorney's fees.

Please ensure you are the genuine rights holder or authorized agent before submitting a takedown notice.

9. Trademark & Other IP Complaints

For trademark infringement, right of publicity concerns, or other intellectual property disputes, please contact us at support@threadclik.com with specific details and supporting documentation.

10. Policy Modifications

Threadclik reserves the right to update or modify this DMCA & Copyright Policy at any time. Any changes will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision date.
